New Years Eve on Easy Street

UPDATE 1/20/13
I'm so excited to have found a way to post my pictures.  So now I will try to do a new post of my completed top!!!

I have all of my units bagged and ready to assemble into my first UFO of the New Year!!!  So New Years Eve is here and I got all those "buddies" joined together and sort of cleaned and organized the corner of the sewing room near my cutting table.  It's kind of embarrassing to claim that this is clean, but if you had seen it before this.......     And then I had to take a break and go out in the snow storm with my dogs.  Poor little Daisy is up to her underside in snow.  Penny was ready to come back inside right away!

I wonder what the middle of the quilt will look like.  After playing with the parts for a little while, I decided to practice a little self-control and make myself wait a few more hours for our new years day instructions.  I just love a good mystery, don't you?  Bonnie always has the best mysteries!

This is my best guess for what it might kind of look like....  the suspense is killing me!
