My diy yarn swift

So I needed a yarn swift and did not want to spend much, nor did I want to wait for one to arrive in the mail.  I found this on the internet and since I had everything I needed to build it, I made one!  It works great!!!  Next I need to figure out how to make a ball winder.  Any suggestions?

This and that meeting

Last night was our "this and that" meeting!  There was a lot of show and tell, but my camera batteries went dead, so I only got 4 pictures!  It certainly was a fun and informative meeting and most of our group showed up!

These pictures were taken at a quilt show that I took Clea Guisasola to a few years ago.  I believe it was the Desert Sage Quilters bi-annual quilt show at the fairgrounds.
