Judy Laquidara asked what's on your needles. I am slowly but surely working on a "swingy lace cardigan" called february lady sweater. I found the pattern on Ravelry and I'm making it from Crystal Palace Aran Marl. I thought I should finish it before the end of this month, just because it is appropriate for the name of the sweater!

I've had that pattern for quite a while. I am so scared to make a sweater! Yours is looking great!
ReplyDeleteI was afraid of "the sweater" also. I made 2 vests first and told myself that this was just a vest with sleeves! It's challenging, but not really any harder than a sock. I'm in a small group of knitter/spinners and they give me a lot of encouragement! :)
Deletebeautiful!! it looks soooo soft
ReplyDeleteThank you! It is very soft, which makes it so nice to work with!
DeleteKnitting is a language I don't speak! : )
ReplyDeleteJanet... you may need to learn a second language. :)
DeleteWow! That is going to be lovely!
ReplyDeleteThank you Maggie!
DeleteSuch a beautiful sweater! It looks light, soft & "flow-y." Looking forward to seeing a photo of the finished product if you post a link on Judy's page!
ReplyDelete:)
thanks NurseBandy! I will definately post a picture of my progress!
DeleteAre you going to be at the meeting next week? I would LOVE to see this sweater. It looks beautiful. I am so afraid to attempt another garment after my garment disasters. I am not sure that Lyn will fix another one for me.
ReplyDeleteJudy!!! You are the one who gave me the courage to start this sweater! When you told me that you made that one top down sweater, I wanted to make one too! shhhhh... I don't want this to get around, but I think Lyn loves to help us with our struggles. I'm planning to go to the meeting if we don't have another blizzard blow through the area.
